Rapist Gets Ass Handed to Him by Hiking Heroes

Just when I was starting to feel like the world was going completely to shit, two dudes go and prove that there still are people willing to fight for other people. Okay, that sounds like something Patrick Swayze said in Dirty Dancing, but no time to talk about that now. Apparently some of the heroes really did go Hollywood, but I am willing to bet one young woman is thankful that they did. An as yet to be identified woman was walking her dog near Hollywood’s Runyan Canyon Park when dickless wonder, 21-year-old Dejan Sebastion, attacked her and threw her to the ground. He then attempted to rape her, in broad fucking daylight, a ballsy move for a rape happy piece of shit that doesn’t qualify as a man anymore. Yeah, you lose that distinction when you start forcing yourself on people. Rape is just unmanly.

Cue our heroes, two men who had been hiking in the area and heard the woman’s screams. Like the badass goodness Hollywood manufactures on the big screen, these two guys come to the rescue and Dejan Sebastian gets his ass handed to him. One witness, Evan Santos, said that by the time he arrived, one of the hikers “had his knee on the guy's neck and was holding him down and people were calling the cops.” And proving that even heroism can be infectious, a few passersby even helped the Hiker Heroes hold down the nutless son of a bitch who tried to take what he wanted by force. The good Samaritans were able to keep the failed rapist from taking off and held on to the bastard until police arrived. Sebastian has been charged with assault with intent to commit rape and managed to make not only one woman, but an entire neighborhood, feel victimized. Considered a generally safe area, where many take their dogs on early morning walks, the incident has left locals feeling uneasy.

Sebastian’s intended recipient of his unwanted junk wasn’t seriously hurt and the heroes that stood in his way haven’t been identified, but thank fuck for them being in the right place at the right time. It just makes me happy to know that there are people like these hikers amongst all the human garbage that take over the headlines every day. That in all this shit, behind all this sickness, all this self-centered trash, there is some good. Maybe there is more than we know or will ever see because we’re all so hung up on the bad stuff. It’s just so hard to find the greatness when the worst of the world is battling for the top spot on your headline news. I am grateful for people like these fellas and what drives them to be decent, selfless people that would put themselves in harm’s way for a stranger. We need more people like them and we don’t even know who the hell they are. Thank you, Anonymous Rapist-Smashing Dudes, you did us proud.
