Hard Up For Attention, Woman Poisons Boyfriend

Vickie Jo Mills
It’s been a while, but today I’m bringing you guys some crazy straight out of Pennsylvania. It seems Vickie Jo Mills of McConnellsburg was craving a little attention and, in what sounds like a really bad Lifetime movie plot, decided that poisoning her boyfriend would be the best way to get it. For over 3 years, Mills put eye drops in Thurman Nesbitt’s drinking water, a move that has now earned her charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment. The 33-year-old mother was arrested last Thursday and is being held in Franklin County Jail with bail set at $75, 000.

Mills’ downfall came when Nesbitt’s doctor finally got suspicious, after treating the man for years for symptoms that included nausea, vomiting, blood pressure issues and trouble breathing. After a chemical found in eye drops turned up in blood tests for Nesbitt, his doctor contacted authorities and Nesbitt was taken to the police station to undergo more testing. The tests came back indicating Nesbitt had a level of 49 nanograms per milliliter of tetrahydrozoline. Yeah, I don’t know what that means either, but apparently experts told police it’s an “extremely high level”, according to one report. The preliminary hearing for Mills was scheduled for Monday, but no word on how that went yet. When she was arrested and questioned by police, she admitted to the poisoning and told them that her intent wasn’t to kill him, that she only wanted him to pay more attention to her.

We’ve come across our share of crazy and the desperate psycho shit the hard up for attention will do when they aren’t getting it, but eye drops as a lethal weapon is a first. It appears to be the preferred method of many  women, with the majority of these kinds of poisoning cases being perpetrated by pissed off females, but cockfloppers have also turned to the drops that "get the red out". My only knowledge of eye drop poisoning comes from Wedding Crashers, because, before that movie, I had no clue that eye drops could make you sick, much less kill you. I also had no idea that eye drops had the amazing power of getting you that much desired attention of your significant other, but, as you can see, that comes with the side effect of getting the attention of authorities as well.

  1. I hope Thurman changed his FB status from "in a relationship" to "single." That should piss Vickie Jo off big time!
