Christopher Morris ... A Tale of the NYPD, Alcohol, a Pole and a Mistress....

On Monday...(whatever date that was) Officer Christoper Morris was at a fundraiser type event in Brooklyn for a close friend and fallen fellow officer,  Peter Figoski. He was shot in the head and killed in December and this benefit was to help out with his family and kids. Well, Officer Morris got a little tipsy, he tied one on as a matter of fact, got in his squad car (oh yeah, he was on duty) and went about his way to get all handcuffy with the criminals of this fine city.  But a utility pole got in his way....I hate when that happens.  He wrapped his patrol car around the pole, told responding officers he had a few drinks and refused a breathalyzer.  Police Commish Ray Kelly has put two of Morris' supervising officers on paid leave and Morris has been charged with DWI and suspended without pay.

Now I know a few people who have had too good of a time and got behind a wheel, I know the best of us can be that stupid when you're tanked up and set on doing what you want. But the title of Officer is sacred and should be held as such to the owner. He knows the law and he knows the consequences...Bad Officer Morris.  But this gets a little bit more sordid and fun.  Here's what happens next: Morris is a married father, but you wouldn't know that if you met his mistress, Jessica Sesack!  Miss Sesack took to the media in the way only a mistress could, by outing his ass and making this whole deal even trashier.  She showed the text messages, the Valentines Day cards, the fake facebook page he made up so they can post pics and gifts she received from lover-boy Morris, to ABC's  Sarah Wallace. She was asked if she spoke to Morris that day and she said she did, and she could tell he was drunk as skunk. She was asked who was to blame, and if she thought she was..... this is a part of the interview:

           "I'm sure a lot of people are going to blame me," Sesack said.
           "Are you to blame?" Wallace asked.

"In some ways, yes, but I'm not the one who let him get in that patrol car," Sesack said, "Nobody should have let him into a car, let alone a police car. He could have killed somebody or he could have been killed how hard he hit that pole."

 So why would Sesack blame herself? If I have my facts right and usually I don't, she and his affair was cut off by his wife finding out. During the filmed interview Sesack seems genuinely worried about Morris...and she has a baby highchair and some baby bottles in the background.  Who's baby is it?? You think that she is taking some blame for him boozing it up at work because he knows he may be a father to her son?  Or am I totally off base and just want to talk smack? Who knows but this is good stuff. I do know that cops of all people should fucking know better than to drive drunk, and they really should know better than fucking loud mouths.
